The Workflow — Step by Step

Crushing & Grinding

ROM ore crushed (jaw/cone) then ground in ball mill / SAG mill to liberation size — typically 75–200 µm for sulfide flotation

Slurry classified by particle size — undersize forwarded to concentration; oversize returned to grinding circuit (closed-circuit)

Concentration — Method by Mineral

Flotation (sulfides), magnetic separation (iron, chrome), gravity (gold, tin, tungsten), leaching (gold, copper oxide) — method matched to mineralogy

Thickening & Dewatering

Concentrate thickened (high-rate thickener), then filtered (filter press / vacuum filter) to 8–10% moisture for transport & smelting
