Complete turnkey cassava processing plants β from 2 TPD village garri lines to 100+ TPD industrial flour and native starch plants β engineered for African tuber varieties, climate, and rural infrastructure.
From freshly harvested tuber to packaged garri, cassava flour or native starch β a fully integrated 6-stage process designed for high yield, hygiene and HCN safety.
Freshly harvested tubers fed through paddle washers and rotary cleaners to remove sand, soil and debris
Mechanical or semi-automatic peelers remove the outer brown skin and cyanogenic-rich cortex layer
High-speed graters reduce tuber to fine mash β optimised RPM for cassava fibre, releasing starch granules
Hydraulic or screw presses extract liquid (for starch separation) and reduce moisture before frying / drying
Vibratory sifters grade garri/flour particles; centrifugal hydro-cyclones separate starch milk from fibre
Garri fryers, flash dryers or rotary dryers finish the product β automated bagging in 1β50 kg packs
Our turnkey package covers the complete line β from tuber intake to packaged finished product. The same platform can be configured for garri, High-Quality Cassava Flour (HQCF) or native starch by switching the back-end drying and finishing modules.
All wetted parts are food-grade SS304 stainless steel. Equipment is pre-assembled and water-tested at our partner facility in India before container shipment to Africa, where our engineers handle installation, commissioning and operator training.
Cassava varieties grown in Nigeria, DRC, Ghana and Tanzania differ in fibre, starch and HCN content. Our graters, peelers and presses are engineered around these realities β not adapted from European potato or sago equipment.
One plant, three product lines β garri, HQCF and native starch β with shared front-end (washing, peeling, grating). Switch finished products as market demand shifts, protecting your investment from single-product risk.
Sweet and bitter cassava varieties contain natural cyanogenic glucosides. Our peeling, pressing and fermentation/heat-treatment sequences are designed to bring HCN below 10 ppm β well within Codex Alimentarius safe limits.
Plants up to 20 TPD can run on diesel generator or solar-hybrid power, with biomass-fired garri fryers using cassava peel as fuel. Ideal for farmer cooperatives in regions without reliable grid electricity.
Our flash-drying process produces High-Quality Cassava Flour (HQCF) suitable for 10β30% wheat substitution in bread, biscuits, noodles & instant foods β opening institutional buyers like bakery brands and food processors.
Wear parts (grater discs, press cloths, sifter screens) are standardised and stocked locally through Vezora's Spare Parts vertical. AMC contracts ensure planned maintenance β minimising downtime in fresh-tuber operations.
